Ring Galaxies as Probes of Starburst Evolution

A method is described whereby the unique properties of ring galaxies are utilized to calibrate the evolutionary properties of starbursts. The method is demonstrated using data from a newly discovered, ultraviolet-bright ring galaxy at a redshift of 0.24.
