Abstract
The greek philosopher Heraclitus (ca. 500 B.C.) wrote the famous words ‘panta rhei kai ouden menei’ (1). Which can be translated as: everything changes and nothing remains as it is. Indeed, we live in a world of change, natural change and change induced through human action. Even if situations appear constant at first sight they will show change on a closer, if necessary on a microscopical look. We are therefore justified to write down a very general transformation equation, viz.
