Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Liquids in Porous Media: A Comparison to other Visualization Techniques

  • Chapter
Disorder and Mixing

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSE,volume 152))

Abstract

This text presents a comparison between several experimental techniques which have been used to visualize liquid phases inside porous media. We first give more detail on NMR. imaging, a technique only recently applied to the study of fluids confined in natural or artificial solid matrixes.
