Ethics, Politics and Sociology as Newtonian Sciences

Newton’s scientific and philosophical legacy can be brought out most clearly by studying the “Newtoniazation” of other scientific disciplines. Astronomy, chemistry and biology, starting from a completely different empirical basis, have been assimilated and have finally become, in principle, a subdivision of Newtonian physics. This remarkable power is based on the fact that Newtonianism is a logic system that is complete, exhaustive and exclusive. Once a system is identified as mechanical, the Newtonian control becomes effective all the way.
