PAC Studies on 111In Implanted into Metal Oxides

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSE,volume 144))

Abstract

The sensitivity of the PAC method towards the immediate surrounding of the probing atom has been proven in many experiments on substitutional impurities in non-cubic metals, impurity-defect complexes and impurity pairs in cubic metals. For several years this hyperfine technique has more frequently been employed to study complex chemical reactions. Here we will briefly summarize the main results of our experiments with 111In implanted into metal oxides.
