Abstract
My assignment is to address the relation between moral theory and concrete moral judgments from the perspective of theological ethics. This would seem to be a straightforward enough task, so that I can get down to business rather quickly. But unfortunately, I must tell you that, before I can begin to analyze the ‘case’ I have provided, I need to make clear the status of the perspective from which I am working.
