Abstract
Between 1981 and the end of 1985, 352 children and teenagers with all types of soft-tissue sarcomas were registered in a national multi-center study. Of these, 293 patients were classified under chemosensitive sarcomas and were treated according to a uniform therapeutic concept. The other 59 patients had generally non-chemosensitive sarcomas and were not given treatment under the guidelines.
Supported by the Bundesministerium für Forschung und Technologie, Bonn (FRG). Grant No. 01 ZP 0831.
