Abstract

The preoperative evaluation of extremity sarcomas is necessary to give the surgical oncologist the information necessary to surgically stage the lesion to plan his surgical procedure. Flow cytometry, tumor markers, etc. will not be discussed, rather, the rationale for surgical preoperative evaluation.
