Abstract

Iomeglamic acid has been successfully applied for radioscopy of the gall-bladder since 1972. This phar-macon has the disadvantageous property that is practically insoluble in water:.5.76 mg/100 ml at 22 C. Preparations containing the drug in different concentrations (10%, 30%, 50%, 70% and 90%) were made with β-cyclo dextrin (=β -CD) by different methods (kneading ana spra -embedding) and their dissolution characteristics were de termined.
