Abstract
The following remarks are made from the perspective of a systematic theologian and will therefore focus more particularly on those fundamental questions for moral theologians which are closely related to changing perspectives in systematic theology. It is, in any case, in this area that questions over the role of the hierarchic magisterium in moral issues, questions about the scientific information factor, and questions about the mediation between these two factors must all be considered and resolved.
