Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to provide the material for the clarification of the notion of “formal existence of elementary particles”. For the time being, therefore, we shall adopt the following point of view. The notion of elementary particle is meaningful only within the framework of the specified theoretical system (paradigm) being used for the description of nature.
Go, go, go, said the bird: human kind cannot bear very much reality.
