Abstract

Tytus Chałubińiski (1820–1889), a physician, scientist and philosopher, is usually viewed as the founder of the Polish school of philosophy of medicine, and the date of publication of his book, The Method of Finding Therapeutic Indications, 1874 [10], as the establishment of this school.
