Abstract

Starting with Paul Tillich’s concept of God as the Power of being in all reality, it is emphasized that, on the one hand, reality cannot be separated from God while, on the other hand, the empirical, rational and non-theistic character of science must be taken into account. How are these two apparently conflicting views to be reconciled?
