Abstract

Man, created in the image of God, has been a co-creator with God since prehistoric times. Science and technology are tools that have been used for this purpose. These two disciplines have passed through several stages of development. The advanced stages of science and technology as we know them today originated from Europe some centuries ago. Subsequently, they have filtered to different parts of the world. Science and technology have had a great impact on man and on the whole of creation. It is only to be expected, therefore, that the courses of science and technology will continue to be influenced and shaped largely by those who have made them what they are today.
