Abstract

Consider the following questions. First: Are the microscopic entities (molecules, atoms, and elementary particles) just figments of our imagination, or do they exist independently in objective reality? Second: Is matter understandable to man and, in particular, does it make any sense to describe it in space and time? Third: Do physical phenomena happen by pure chance, almost miraculously, or are they caused?
