Abstract
From the standpoint of the editors of this book, the following papers are on a somewhat painful subject. They constitute an expression of Duncan Black’s objection to logrolling. He could not maintain that the formal analysis was wrong, but throughout Black held the view that a morally correct man would not actually act in this way.
