Abstract
The main task of radioactive contamination monitoring at bases and sites for refueling and recycling of ships and vessels with nuclear power facilities (NPFs) is the securing of information and the assessment of the radioecological situation for the purpose of the maximum possible prevention of the penetration into the environment of radioactive materials produced in the course of normal NPF operation and in events of radiation accidents[1].
