Abstract
Modal syllogistic can be extended to cover syllogisms containing singular terms. The entire modal system can then be based on a system of singular modals. In turn, the system of singular modal syllogisms can be reduced to assertoric singular syllogistic. Many different systems of singular modal syllogistic are possible, corresponding to different existence-assumptions and different definitions of sun sets.
