Abstract
Thermodynamic properties of polymer-solvent systems can be determined near the miscibility gap in the temperature(T)- pressure(P)-concentration(y) phase diagram with the pressure pulse induced critical scattering method, which was developed by the authors. It is shown that turbidity corrections of the experimental determined light scattering intensities in the critical region of the binodal plane are necessary, because only the light scattering intensities without attenuation are of thermodynamic relevance.
