Summary
The influence of two standard and innovative heat treatments on low-cycle fatigue of Inconel 718 alloy at 650°C has been studied. The results have shown that the innovative heat treatment decreases fatigue life and ductility. The damage induced by fatigue cycling has been studied by scanning and transmission electron microscopy.
