Typical A- and B-scan findings in congenital cystic lesions such as serous cyst, dermoid cyst, congenital cystic eye, cysts of the optic nerve, cystic lymphangioma, and meningo(encephalo)cele are demonstrated and characteristic combinations of criteria for each entity are outlined.
