Abstract
In order to synthesize a new polyimide, an amic acid (MPE) was synthesized.
The kinetics of imidization of the amic acid (MPE) was studied with a new method by computerized DSC experimental data. The order of imidization reaction of MPE amic acid is about equal to 3, and it is not variable in the whole imidization. The new method is substantiated feasible by the experimental results of TGA and IR.
