Conformational Disorder in Polydiethylsiloxane (PDES)

Abstract

We examined the phase diagram of PDES using DSC, solid state NMR, optical microscopy and rheological measurements. The mobility of the chains in the different phases was investigated. Changes that occur upon shearing and the influence of quenching are discussed.
