Atmospheric Trace Gas Measurement on the Schauinsland Surveying Station

  • Conference paper

Summary

An automated diode laser spectrometer (DLS) as described has been tested in unattended operation on the Schauinsland surveying station. After selecting diode lasers with uniform far-field pattern and after optimizing the DLS signal with respect to pressure and modulation amplitude sensitivities down to 50 pptv for NO2 and 300 pptv for NO are obtained. DLS measurements in urban and rural atmospheres are shown.
