Abstract

Some of the experimental subjects usually investigated in underground laboratories are shortly reviewed; among them double beta decay and solar neutrinos receive more attention. In fact, present experiments on ∣3∣3 decay and the new thecniques recently developed are very promising and garantee that in a near future very stringent limit on neutrinoless decay and Majoron emission will be reached and two neutrino mode observed for a few nuclei.

Solar neutrino flux measurements is one of the major task of physicists in next years; experiments presently in operation or in construction are described. In a second part of the paper a status report of the Gran Sasso Laboratory is given.
