Abstract
For the calculation of nonisothermal flows of viscoelastic fluids thermodynamica1ly consistent relations (temperature equation (TE), special rate type rheological constitutive equation (RCE), temperature dependence of material parameters) are derived for the limiting cases of entirely entropy and energy elasticity, respectively- Some nonisothermal models, which include the temperature history in an explicit form, are special cases of the given generalized representation.
