ABSTRACT
A rectangular TBA (Triple Bending Achromat) combined function dipole magnet has been designed for the SRRC (Synchrotron Radiation Research Center) storage ring. The magnet design was calculated using the “MAGNET” program and measured by our Hall probe automatic mapping system. The effective lengths with and without shims have been measured. The ΔB/B and ΔG/G have been measured to be comparable with 2-D calculations and the measured effective lengths are checked with a 3-D calculation.
