Abstract
This paper will address the problems facing the automotive industry in terms of material selection, the application methods used and the longer term durability requirements of the available formulations. It is not the intention to speculate on possible extensions to the technology, but the discussions will inevitably point towards the limitations and restrictions which the industry faces.
