Abstract

The use of adhesives in the manufacture of rocket motors is a well established technology and a number missiles are in United Kingdom military service which use adhesives as a key element in their structure. In rocket motor manufacture, adhesives are used in three main areas, bonding of the propellant charge to the case, bonding of external components such as wiring conduits and case manufacture. It is in this latter area that this paper is concerned.
