Abstract

The lay-out procedure for the kinetic dependent reactive systems is similar to the conventional equilibrium based systems. The main difference is in the consideration of the time dependent mass transfer term describing the overall (macro-) kinetics. This term is then incorporated in well known hydrodynamic concepts describing the concentration profile in a technical apparatus. The calculation sequence is demonstrated for liquid/liquid systems with reactive extraction.
