Abstract

To pursue the study of solar phenomena in late-type stars, we have investigated chromospheric activity in 100 single and binary stars of spectral type F6 to M2 and luminosity class III, IV, and V. Attempts are made to “quantify” starspot activity and correlate it to chromospheric activity.
