Chemical Alterations in Ion Irradiated Frozen Hydrocarbons
For the last 10 years many experimental results have been obtained on the chemical and physical changes induced by ion and electron irradiation of organic materials. Those results have been reviewed in recent literature with a view to their astrophysical relevance (e.g. Strazzulla and Johnson 1989, Andronico et al. 1987, Lanzerotti et al. 1987, Foti et al. 1984, Johnson et al. 1984).
