Abstract
This has been the first international conference devoted solely to the cosmic microwave background radiation (CBR). That alone would be a cause to celebrate but the conference here in L’Aquila has also been beautifully organized, well attended and very productive. The presence here of so many younger men and women is a particular pleasure, and a sure sign of the health of our field.
