Abstract
A novel application of erasable optically stimulable phospher(OSP) to memory device for modifiable synaptic weights in learnable optical neural network is experimentally demonstrated. OSP has many attractive features for mass storage of synaptic weight that is analog, accessible in parallel, and erasable and rewritable as well as high in resolution and fast in response.
