Abstract
Real time computer control systems are used with the cement manufacturing equipments. Among them, simple or compact methods realized by μ-computers are presented.
Actual example of Kiln control, raw material blending control, and electric power demand control are described in detail. New control methods such as auto-regressive model, physical model with long integration time constants, predictive model by the least mean square error, and auto-tuning of PID control parameters are the subjects of interesting advanced control applications. CRT panels of man-machine communication system have the important role in actual plant operation.
