Abstract

Population genetics deals with population studies of live organisms which transfer their genetic structure to their progeny according to certain stable laws. The genetic structure of an organism is not directly observable, however, some of the organism’s traits, depending on it deterministically or stochastically, can be observed. The basic problems of population genetics concern investigation of the genetic structure of the population, its changes with time, comparisons of various populations, anticipation of their future development etc.
