Abstract
One way of coming to appreciate Prior’s work on intensionality and truth is to compare it with work by other philosophers in the same or related areas. In the next five chapters we compare certain aspects of Prior’s work with some of the things said by Gottlob Frege, George Bealer, J.A. Fodor, Donald Davidson, and W.V.Quine.
