Abstract

The epoch of global changes and projects, conducted in the former socialistic states, stimulates not only the development of project management culture in these states, but the global process of knowledge, methods and models also. The creation of a uniform basis of knowledge for professionals in the branch of project management and the transition of Western culture in the joint projects also provide the motivation of Ukrainian project managers to active study of the newest methods and means of project management. The following functions of projects portfolio management systems are considered in this paper:

  • creation and administering of projects portfolio;

  • creation of dynamic links between projects and those structures (layouts, structure of activities, project groups and so on);

  • preparation and monitoring of projects;

  • analysis of current state and planned parameters of projects complex completion;

  • use of wizards technique;

  • preparation and making of solutions by projects portfolio and each portfolio management.
