Abstract
This chapter is an annotated case study of the cost, to the American Physical Society, of publishing its scientific journals: The Physical Review, Physical Review Letters, and Reviews of Modern Physics. It also reports on the revenues available to cover these costs and on the resulting prices charged to subscribers.
