Sensitive Detection of Plant Pathogens by Using Immobilized Targets in Tissue Imprinted Membranes

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Developments in Plant Pathology ((DIPP,volume 11))

Abstract

Extracts preparation limits the number of samples that can be processed. Grinding is time consuming, requires special buffers and equipment, enhances risks of contamination and entails the release of inhibitors of plant origin. In addition, some epitopes and targets are modified when extracts are prepared.
