Abstract
During the last decade, the development of effective interventions for abusive and high-risk children and families has received substantial attention. As a result of this increased attention to evidence-based practices, developers have attempted to systematically train mental health providers in these same interventions. This chapter provides a brief overview of the core components of implementation as defined by Dean Fixsen and his colleagues (2005), followed by a description of the way in which the EBTs presented in this volume have incorporated these principles into their training programs.
