Abstract

Coral reefs have often been described as fragile ecosystem in delicate balance with nature (Dubinsky, 1990; Loya and Rinkevich, 1980; Endean, 1976; Loya, 1976; Johannes, 1975). Coral reefs are indicators of environmental and climate changes that cause flashing damage to reefs. As an integral part of reefs, corals are especially vulnerable to anthropogenic pressures and climate change related threats.
