Abstract

The main topics of this paper are the socialized healthcare system in Georgia, current situation and statistics, the changes in the transition period within the society and the healthcare system. Here are resented the efforts from the government and the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia (MoLHSA) in the way of numerous initiatives and action in order to improve quality care of patients and sustain the healthcare system. In the paper are described the institutional framework, process, content and implementation of health and healthcare policies in Georgia.
