Abstract

Growing old is a personal challenge for every human being and a positive appreciation of men’s final years has never been self evident, on the contrary. There is a long, deeply rooted belief, that old age is an inevitably dark perspective awaiting everyone, given he has time enough to life. Consider, for example, Plato ’s words, quoted here above and taken from his book Epinomis.
