Abstract

This chapter is dedicated to the use of qualitative methods for the study of young people’s quality of life. It presents the characteristics of qualitative methods and their objectives, the role of theory in qualitative studies, the techniques used, the role of the researcher, the registration of the information and the data analysis process. Finally it makes a reflection about the importance of qualitative studies and their validity.
