Abstract

This chapter is dedicated to the study of satisfaction with life in the community and in the country. First, it presents the concepts of community, life satisfaction and satisfaction with community life considering different authors' points of view. Then it presents a scale to measure the level of satisfaction with life in the country, especially constructed by the author and explains its theoretical construction. Finally it shows some results of the application of the scale with young people in Argentina.
