Abstract
Brain tumors and their treatment may have significant physical, cognitive, emotional and social effects on patients. Patients affected by brain tumors frequently exhibit poor quality of life (QoL) because of tumor symptoms, diagnostic examinations, way of communication of the diagnosis and treatments. In brain tumor patients, palliating symptoms and maintaining or improving Health-Related quality of life is particularly relevant. This chapter will analyze several aspects related to QoL in patients affected by brain tumors.
