Abstract
In order to have a more statistically literate society, the Iranian Statistical Society, in cooperation with the Iranian Association of Mathematics Teachers’ Societies, convinced the Ministry of Education to include one statistics course in the national high school curriculum. This chapter discusses some activities of the Isfahan Mathematics House related to preparing mathematics teachers to teach statistics in high school. It may provide a model for other countries in their efforts to improve statistics education and promote statistical literacy among their citizens.
