Abstract/Summary

Here we outline the development of a diagnostic tool for probing the jet phenomena from YSOs. We adopt the X-wind model for jets and winds as our background framework. We review the basic dynamical model, the crucial physics that affects the thermal structure and excitation condition of such flows, and interpretation and predictions of radiation based on such approaches. We also suggest possible diagnostics suitable for probing physical conditions that arise in YSO jets.
