Abstract

For more than 10 years in Russia [1,2] and the USA [3,4] numerous attempts have been made to develop systems on the basis of TNA method for explosives detection in luggage of the air passengers. In this method explosives are identified on the basis of detection of gamma-radiation from nitrogen irradiated by thermal neutrons.
